#26 - Jacksonville Jaguars 11-5                                        Needs WR, DE, SS, CB
RB, Arkansas, 6'0", 202, 4.47
AFATT Mock Draft - First Round
2008 NFL Draft Picks 25-32
Defense is a strength, but pass rush is always at a premium, they need CB help,
but this will make covering WR's easier.  They need help at WR but may be a little
gun shy about drafting another one after all the busts they have had at that position
the last few years.
Felix Jones
#32 - New York Giants 10-6
S, Miami, 6'2", 212, 4.54
He will help replace their loss in free agency.  He can help immediately on special
teams and add depth on defense.  They need depth at OL and DL and could use
some youth at LB and everyone needs good secondary players.  If a solid CB is
here they may go that direction.
Kenny Phillips
#27 - San Diego Chargers 11-5                                       Needs OT, G, NT, FB, RB
DT, North Carolina, 6'4", 297, 5.05
RB is a possibility with Michael Turner leaving, but they also need depth on the DL
and Balmer is versatile enough for the 3-4 and makes sense for them.  They do not
have tremendous needs so they can be selective and take the best player if
someone slides to them.  Balmer has high bust potential as a one-year wonder.
Kentwan Balmer
#28 - Dallas Cowboys 13-3                                         Needs CB, WR, OT, ILB, RB
The Cowboys do not have glaring needs but with Terry Glenn getting old and
Owens no spring chicken they could use some youth at WR.  Defense would be
their first priority but with Julius Jones leaving in free agency and the Arkansas
connection, Jerry gets another Jones, this time with superior speed.
#29 - San Francisco 49ers 4-12 (from Colts 13-3)        Needs WR, OT, OLB, DE, QB
They need speed and playmakers on offense but pairing Connor with Willis gives
them a great young LB corp for years to come.  More OL help is also a possibility
but the best ones are gone.  If they were going to reach, and with the front office
changes, who knows, they may go after a receiver, but the value is not here.
Brandon Flowers
#30 - Green Bay Packers 13-3                                        Needs CB, OT, S, TE, WR
CB, Virginia Tech, 5'10", 190, 4.40
Flowers does not really fit with the CB's they have because he is undersized, but
he plays tough and physical like Woodson and Harris and he will fit in nicely.  He
helps immediately on special teams and in the dime package.  They will go best
available and Flowers is moving up draft boards.
#31 - Nobody (Patriots Forfeit Pick)
Videographer, State Pen U, Short, Fat, Slow
The Patriots forfeited this pick as punishment for taping the signals of opposing
defenses from the sideline during games.  This was discovered and relayed to the
NFL office during the Jets game week one.  The team was also fined $250,000
and Belichick was also fined $500,000.
Nobody
#25 - Seattle Seahawks 10-6                                           Needs OT, DT, RB, TE, G
Sean Alexander has never been the same since his contract was signed and they
need to be prepared.  They solved the RB issue in free agency, they now take a
swing at solving the OL issues with the selection of Albert.  He can eventually be
an OT, but they can plug him at OG and get years of production.
